James Preston Lynch, 66, son of the late Ruby Ray and John Lynch, died Tuesday. Graveside funeral service 11 AM Friday at Crestview Memorial Park, South Hill, VA.
Surviving: beloved companion for over 20 years Ruby Phillips of Zebulon; daughter Sandra Rouse and husband Troy of Rocky Mount; son Scott Lynch and wife, Debbie of Asheboro; sisters Delphine Harris and husband Una of South Hill, VA, Shirley Morris and husband Joseph of Durham, and Lorene Cash of Statesville; brother Joseph Lynch and wife Mable of Richmond, VA.and six grandchildren.
